The Head of the Musicians’ Union, Eman el-Bahr Darwish, confirmed that it was vital to cleanse corruption from the music industry in order to save the commerce in Egypt. Eman believes that although leaders from the Muslim Brotherhood were attacking the world of media, the already declining industry was enough to help them bring an end to it. However, along with the Union, Eman hopes to shelter the trade and help it survive. It was found that the music head had made s report in Abdeen Police Station on September 12 after he was banned from entering the Union even though he had a court order allowing him to continue his work as a Head of the Union. However it is alleged that the board members of the Union placed a decree to stop Eman from practicing his work as a Head and refused to follow the court order.
