Moroccan singer Fatima Zahra Lahlou confirmed to Arabstoday that she has finished recording her new song, Crazy about you. Lahlou also confirmed she has a new six track album to release. The singer said: "My new album varies in character; the songs have a new colour and rhythm completely different from my previous songs.” Describing some of the tracks, Lahlou said: "Crazy about you includes electronic music inspired by Raga music, while the song Dear one came is a mix of flamenco and salsa music and We must forget is a romantic song." Lahlou told Arabstoday that the secret of success is to: “Find something new to produce every time. Artists cannot stay with one pattern, they should find new colours of art to produce,” adding that she “found a new colour that combines youth spirit with Tarab.” The singer admitted that: “I'm the kind of person that keeps ahead of the times.” Lahlou recognised that competition in the music industry is tough and can be blamed for a lot of artists leaving the music scene, but she also added that: “Art is in my blood and I wish for Moroccan songs to gain international recognition.”
