Lebanese actress Lamita Franjieh admitted to Arabstoday that she has reached a certain level among movie stars after appearing in many Egyptian films alongside the most famous names including Ahmed Ezz, Tamer Hosny. She lamented that her success has provoked some people who have sought to "attack and discredit" her but she said she would remain defiant against "spiteful people" saying that her success is in the hands of her audience and those who support and care for her. Lamita acknowledged that most famous actresses in Egypt and Lebanon play what she called "temptation characters" but denied that this was an easy option saying that Egyptian cinema "has no mercy for people without talent." Lamita is preparing to travel to Egypt to shoot a new movie following the success of her film “Ana Badie Ya Wadie”.
