Egyptian actress Menna Fadaly was astonished about the continuous criticism following the way she dresses. Many have deemed it as inappropriate and not in accord with Egyptian customs and traditions. However, she believes despite the way she dresses, she is still a woman within limits of her customs and traditions. Brushing over the incessant disparagement, Menna discussed her ongoing work in more depth, telling us her participation in four dramas this year during Ramadan was very exhausting. Some of her projects included “Bab el Khalq,” “Al ekhwa Al Adaa,” “Al Helaly Salalem” and “Ibn Mawt” which she very much enjoyed she adds. However the actress states she had taken on too much work which meant she had to decline a main role in the series Serr Alany” with Ghada Adel and Iyad Nassar. “Working with the great actor, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in “Bab el Khalq” was a lot of fun,” Menna tells us. “His nomination was a great responsibility for me. He continuously gives me great advice and even joked with me once that if I don’t make it, he does not want to know me.” Menna also added how her other series were also extremely special to her, especially since the audience had really appreciated them. She is now waiting for her series “Selsal al Damm” to be shown where she will play an upper-class Egyptian girl.
