Moroccan artist Mariam Bakouche said that the Moroccan art scene is rich in television and cinema productions, but that it is not enough, adding that there are artists and technicians graduated from the institute's theater and filmmakers, who carry certificates from foreign countries, pointed out that they must take their opportunity to highlight their abilities and artistic capabilities.
Bakouche stressed, in interview with Arabs Today, that the first and second channels are working hard to produce films and series, but not enough, where new television channels should be opened to open for the Arab world's audience, what makes Moroccan drama to be widespread.
Regarding her experience in foreign works, Bakouche said that she worked in a Syrian work under the title "Omar" and a German film entitled "Good bye Dubai", which was filmed in Morocco and Germany but she played a secondary role in these works.
She also expressed her pleasure for working with director Rauf Al-Sabahi in a new film that will be screened in the cinemas soon under the title "Hayat", adding that it is a unique experience in Morocco. More than 22 superstars participated in this film, including Idriss Al-Rukh, Suad Al-Najjar, Usama, Hashim Bastawi, Mohammad Batib, Nasreen Al Radhi, Malik Akhmeis and Sabah Bensadik. The film was filmed in seven Moroccan cities.
The Moroccan actress also finished filming a new series that will be screened during Ramadan season, under the title "Alo Ibtisam" directed by Hisham Al-Jabari and Sinarist Boshra Malik, in which she participated in a joint starring with singer Ibtisam Taskat, Sakina Draabil and Ahlam Al-Zaimi.
