Lebanese singer Carol Samaha is nearing the completion of recording songs for her new album which will be out soon. She spoke to Arabstoday exclusively about her upcoming projects. "I finished recording most of the songs for my new album. The recording took place between Cairo and Beirut, and although the album is dominated by my new Egyptian dialect songs, there are also several songs in the Lebanese dialect," Carol expressed to Arabstoday. "In this album I dealt with many poets and composers, including Mohammed Yahya Mohamed Rahim, Mohammed Juma and Amir To'eima. I also wrote two songs which I am very excited to share with everyone.” I’ve also decided to shoot one of the songs from the album in Paris at the end of November next with French director Terry van,” the stunning singer added. With a gig in Abu Dhabi on October 26 and then hitting Paris November 30 for the stage of UNESCO, it seems Carol Samaha definitely has a busy schedule ahead. “I’m really excited about the UNESCO ceremony” she tells us. “I eagerly await the event.” Following rumours of starring on the small screen, Carol confirmed that this was not true. Although she has had many offers to be part of drama serials, she tells us she is currently focusing on her music which is her top priority for now.
