Deputy head of Egyptian Television for sports programs Hisham Rashad said Sunday the problem of Al-Ahly’s dues will be soon resolved.
“We are about to reach understanding with Al-Ahly over the crisis,” Rashad told MENA.
The arrears will be paid this week to Al-Ahly and other six clubs, he said.
The coming encounter of Al-Ahly in the premier league will be broadcast on the Egyptian television, he added.
Al-Ahly rejected to broadest the match versus Al-Assiouty due to financial reasons.
In September, the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) acquired the rights to broadcast Al-Ahly encounters in the Egyptian league for three years.
