Information Affairs Minister Isa Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi has affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain represents an advanced model in democratic and political development, rule of law, respect for human rights, and consolidation of dialogue and co-existence among religions, cultures and civilisations as result of the reforms launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Receiving the German Ambassador to Bahrain Sabine Taufmann, who introduced to him a delegation from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), the minister discussed ways to consolidate cooperation and to exchange of expertise.
He affirmed the need to enhance partnership and cooperation with civil society institutions and regional and international research centres in Germany and the European Union in order to contribute to promoting the values of love, peace and dialogue among peoples and civilisations.
The partnership will also support sustainable development and raise awareness on the need to combat violence and terrorism for the sake of enhancing regional and global security and stability.
Ambassador Taufmann praised the minister's interest in consolidating cooperation with the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and in advancing cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries at all levels.
