Egyptian TV anchor Mofida Shiha expressed, in an interview with Arabs Today, her happiness of the success of her TV show “El Sistat Ma Yarefoush Yakzebo” (Women Don’t Know How to Lie). She said that she presented many TV shows throughout her career, but this show has a "special taste" for me, because it discusses women issues in a simple way that suits ordinary Egyptian citizen. She praised her colleague Mona Abdel Ghani and Soher Guda, as well as the team of editors who selects important topics and invite special guests. Shiha ruled out to leave CBC channel, asserting that she considers it as her home and does not intend to leave it despite she received many offers from other TV channels. She also praised the management of the channel, noting that they are always very kind with the team. Shiha said that she prefers to present social rather than political programs because such kind of TV programs requires a special type of anchors. Shiha revealed that she could not cook before her previous program "El Chef wa Mofida" (The Chef and Mofida), but she learned to cook from chef Sherbiny. She noted that the program was simple and simultaneous. Shiha pointed out that she lost much weight in the recent period, and she now looks as young as her daughter "Menna," noting that she now eats healthy food. Shiha said that she loves her only daughter and wishes her the best in her life and career. Arabs Today asked Shiha about her wishes in 2017, she said "I hope that Egypt becomes better and eliminates terrorism," stressing that Egypt will remain safe and great.
