Offering services and revealing facts relevant to the national development plan by official bodies to people is a "true media plan," said Minister of Social Affairs and Labour and Minister of State for Planning and Development Hind Sabeeh Al-Sabeeh on Sunday.
She made the statement at the opening of Injazat (Achievements) exhibition and forum.
The event that brings together officials of ministries and state institutions helps reveal facts people are in need to know, especially citizens interested in the development plan and willing to listen to constructive criticism, the Minister said.
For his part, Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) Director General Salah Al-Mudhaf said the forum offers a chance to display the bank's successes and achievements over a past year, especially the enormous growth of housing and social loans, and rising numbers of beneficiaries.
Taking part in the forum is a chance to enhance cooperation with state bodies, as part of the efforts to promote services, he added.
Participants will be acquainted with the efforts to realize more achievements, especially shifting to e-services and reducing duration of procedures.
Khamis ALajmim, Chairman of the Vision media group, organizer of the event, stressed the role by the media to highlight activities and achievements by government bodies.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the forum, ALajmim emphasized the significance of constructive criticism which helps identify shortcomings.
