Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Western media reports started showing the true picture of what is going on in Eastern Ukraine.
The Russian (RIA Novosti) News Agency quoted Lavrov as saying "Western media has started, even if unwillingly, to cover the situation [in southeastern Ukraine] quite detailed, showing all the horrors that the civil population is facing there." "It shows a very sad picture: thousands of killed and injured, no electricity, no drinking water, it is impossible to provide work of hospitals, retirement homes, other objects of social infrastructure," Lavrov noted.
Lavrov praised the performance of journalists, pointing out that they are now transmitting the real picture about what is going on in reality.
