A national advisory body for orientation to help in the implementation of the new building industrialization policy, bringing together experts and industry executives, will be created soon, said Wednesday the minister of Housing, National planning and the City, Abdelmajid Tebboune.
"In order to exploit all national skills of our executives, despite the age of some of them, we decided to suggest to the Prime Minister the establishment of an advisory body to modernize the housing sector and help us to industrialize construction in Algeria," the minister said.
Tebboune was speaking at the end of a workshop on building industrialization in Algeria, organized by his ministry on from 31 September to 1 October in Algiers.
The minister said the body to be set up in November, will be composed of university experts and executives with proven expertise in the field.
Besides, he stressed this new structure will have a consultative role as it will present its views on the choice of a process or a project assessment as part of the industrialization of construction.
