The Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabariti, has termed the 2nd Arab-British Economic Forum taking place next week in London a great opportunity to promote the Kingdom as an ideal place for investment opportunities.
In a press release on Monday, Kabariti said Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, currently has an investment environment that investors and business owners find attractive.
Major projects are an attraction for global companies, besides certain regional factors such as security and stability, that support Jordan's case, he said, adding that the efforts of His Majesty have helped put Jordan on the world economic map.
He said the Kingdom's delegation will comprise senior public and private officials, reflecting the importance of Jordan-Britain relations. " The event will help contribute towards further developing the ongoing cooperation between the two countries," Kabariti added.
Kabariti explained that the forum will provide an opportunity for Arab and British companies to benefit from meetings and exchange of expertise and knowledge and will focus on Islamic banking, energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, tourism, medical tourism and logistics associated with trade and technology.
