Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail said that Egypt's approach to build a strong country is the reason behind establishing and developing new economic projects.
During a tour of a number of projects in Alexandria on Sunday, Ismail said such economic projects will contribute to implementing a qualitative leap for Egypt's economy.
He added that petrochemical industry is considered one of the main cornerstones for Egypt's economy.
The petroleum sector has a clear vision and program to implement new projects and also to develop old ones, he further said, adding that such vision will help in increasing production rates, providing more job opportunities and raw material for other industries.
Meanwhile, he pointed out that the current phase requires all Egyptians to be united to increase production and support economy.
