Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khaled Hanafy said Egypt enjoys a distinguished location which could lure investments as it is considered a gate for a market of some 1.6 billion people along with the trade agreements signed with African and European countries where investors could promote their products.
Addressing "Egypt International Forum for Logistic Services", organized by the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, Hanafy said scarcity of capital, unemployment and the logistic location of Egypt are considered elements of success which could be utilized to lure investment projects.
Revenues of investment in Egypt could be much higher than other countries, the minister explained, adding that 90 percent of Egypt territories are not used so far.
He also noted that logistic investments are very important, citing the success of the ministry to apply the subsidies and bread system with the application of logistics and the information technology sectors
