The Egyptian government is keen on using all its potentials and human skills to develop economic and political ties with African countries, said Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour on Wednesday.
Speaking at a meeting with Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa Al Ahwani and Investment Minister Ashraf Salman, Abdel Nour said that all ministries are acting to enhance Egypt's presence in Africa.
The private sector is also encouraged to tap African markets, Abdel Nour said at the meeting that was held to outline a comprehensive vision to upgrade the performance of El Nasr Export & Import Co.
Abdel Nour said his Ministry is coordinating with the ministries of investment and international cooperation, as well as El Nasr Export & Import Co., to prepare a list of the most important locations and branches to be used as logistics hubs, stores and exhibitions of Egyptian products.
This, he noted, is meant to help Egyptian products reach African countries.
