Egypt's stability and economic progress is vital to the whole region and the world, said Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf on Saturday.
Al-Assaf's remarks came on the second day of the Egypt Economic Development Conference EEDC in Sharm el-Sheikh.
He pointed out that the commitment of the Egyptian government to boost economic confidence, improve investment climate and stimulate tourism for achieving sustainable growth would contribute to creating new job opportunities, especially after the economic hardships Egypt witnessed during and after the transitional period.
The Saudi minister praised the recent economic reforms made by Cairo, saying they encouraged Saudi Arabia to increase its investment in Egypt.
