The government is keen to offer facilitation to serve the business community and improve services at government bodies dealing with investors, Industry and Trade Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said.
During the opening of a new branch of the Chamber of Commerce in Suez, Abdel Nour said Egypt has a strong domestic market and service infrastructure qualifying it to achieve a large economic leap in a short period.
The government plans to set up a comprehensive system for domestic trade to attract more investments and establish market chains and outlets in a modern and developed way under the best international standards, he said.
He said he opened a new branch of the chamber in Aswan Saturday, an important step to develop trade in south Egypt.
