Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday said launching new projects and companies will pave the way for more jobs for youths, adding the country is keen on luring more investments.
"Combating unemployment is linked to development," Mahlab said in an event marking the launch of 'Ayaady' company for investment and development with a capital of 10 billion pounds.
Of the 10-billion pounds capital, the government contributed by 20 percent and the private sector 80 percent.
The premier said the unemployment rates are declining, thanks to major projects like the New Suez Canal.
