Polish Commercial Advisor in Cairo Tomasz Przygoda on Wednesday said he is keen on promoting cooperation between Egyptian and Polish businessmen.
In a press conference held in Cairo, Przygoda said that Polish companies pay great attention to investment opportunities in the Suez Canal area and other areas in Egypt.
In 2015, the trade exchange between Egypt and Poland amounted to USD 500 million, the envoy added.
Egypt imports agricultural products, foodstuffs, auto parts and chemicals from Poland, Przygoda said.
Poland imports textile, garments, rubber products, vegetables, fruit and mineral products from Egypt, he added.
