Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Friday that a national project will be launched to provide sanitation networks in the Egyptian villages soon.
The new project, which comes as part of a 500-million-dollar deal with the World Bank, will serve 155 villages in three governorates, namely Sharqiya, Behira and Daqahliya.
Madbouly said the deal reflects the WB's trust in stability currently witnessed by Egypt.
Egypt will get another 500-million-dollar loan from the World Bank to finance similar projects in other governorates.
