Finance Minister Hany Qadry said on Thursday that the results of the economic reforms will take time to be touched.
During a press conference that was held on the budget of the 2015-2016 fiscal year, Qadry thanked the Egyptian people for shouldering the burden of economic reforms during the past year, noting that this will help protect future generations.
Qadry added that the ministry issued its preliminary statement on the 2015-2016 budget in March to give the Egyptian people a chance to analyze and discuss it.
"As of the coming year, the preliminary statement will be issued in September," he said, adding that the government increased its subsidies to the educational health sectors in the coming year's budget.
Qadry underlined that the poor people should sense the spending allocated for the health and educational sector in villages.
He added that the postponement of parliamentary elections had a negative impact on Egypt's transparency indicator but the ministry tried hard to lower these effects by issuing the financial statement and the budget.
