Abdel Fattah El Sisi has ordered finalizing joint projects with Russia as soon as possible, Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Denis Manturov, Qabil said Egypt signed a number of deals with Russia and the United Arab Emirates to fund Russian projects in Egypt.
Qabil denied the allocation of a plot of land to establish an Italian industrial zone in Egypt.
Manturov, for his part, said Russia and Egypt reached deals to establish two factories for the manufacturing of construction materials and air conditioners in Egypt.
He added that his country is keen on bolstering economic ties with Egypt in all fields.
