President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Saturday with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy and Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil.During the meeting, Sisi ordered to complete studies of a furniture city project in Damietta, Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said.
He also directed to establish a specialized company to manage and market the project and to benefit from the international expertise in this regard.
Also, the president issued directives to kick off the second stage of the Roubiki Leather City project and to finalize it in mid 2016.
The meeting also tackled the ongoing steps to offer an industrial zone in Qwissna to investors.
During the meeting, Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy briefed Sisi on the current measures to provide commodities for citizens at affordable prices.
The minister reviewed the ministry's efforts to stabilize the prices of meat and poultry and control the prices of the food products.
