US Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday Washington is "committed" to supporting Egypt's economic reforms and its security, in an address to a global investment conference at an Egyptian Red Sea resort.
"The US is committed to supporting Egypt's economic reform. The American people are committed to the security and well being of the Egyptian people," he said during the inaugural session of the three-day conference in Sharm el-Sheikh.
