A Gaza fisherman was reported missing on Thursday after Israeli navy drowned his boat near Sudaniya area, northwest Gaza, according to witnesses.
They said Israeli navy boats opened fire at the fishing boat and drenched it with water apparently pushing the fisherman identified as Muhammad Hassi to fall off into the water.
A fisherman witness said that the Israeli navy attacked a few Palestinian boats that were sailing near al-Sudaniya area, which is about 4 nautical miles off Gaza shore, chased them and opened fire at them, causing serious damages to them. One of the boats eventually drowned and the fisherman on it went missing.
It was not immediately known if the missing fisherman has drowned or captured by the Israelis.
