Chairperson of Morocco’s Raja Casablanca football team Saeed Hasban expressed his astonishment over the campaign that targeted him during the final match of Throne Cup, saying that it was a systematic campaign aiming to break his image before the Moroccan people.
He added that there are some people who are working to push specific categories of the team’s fans to take such actions against him, stressing that he will not keep silent in dealing with those people. He praised the achievements his board managed to achieve, saying that despite the critical conditions they faced since the beginning of the season they managed to keep the position of the team.
He added that he faced critical conditions and crisis since the beginning of the latest season, while he managed to overcome them and to gain the second place in the Moroccan league. He added, “we were close to win the championship, while small mistakes prevented us from achieving this objective.”
He expressed his appreciation to the efforts exerted by the team’s players to win the Throne Cup, saying that it is one of the major achievements that his board managed to achieve despite the challenges. He denied any intention to delay the meeting of the General Assembly, saying that such a meeting will give him the opportunity to present the achievements the team achieved under his presidency.
