Egyptian footballer Waleed Soliman expressed his aspiration to win the Egyptian Super Cup, scheduled to be held in Emirates on February 10, with his team Ahly, stressing that winning the match would provide the team with psychological support before the beginning of Egyptian Premier League’s second round.
He added that he received a number of offers to play outside Egypt, while he has not discussed them, as he focuses currently on the coming matches with his team and his desire to end his career inside Ahly. He stressed that he has wonderful relation with the team and its fans, saying that this relation is more important than any offers.
He praised the efforts exerted by the team’s coach Hossam Al Badry to restore African Champions League and to keep the Egyptian league inside the club’s headquarter in Cairo. He revealed his intention to experience coaching after his retirement.
He expressed his pleasure for the qualification of Egypt’s national team for the second round in Africa Cup of Nations, demanding the players to exert their efforts to win the next match against Morocco. He stressed, “If the players performed well before Morocco, they would win the match.”
