Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido of Moroccan Raja Casablanca said that his team will go to the city of Agadir to return with victory and to qualify for the next round of the Throne Cup against the Olympic Aldshira football team after the draw of the two teams yesterday at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca with a score of zero, in the matches of the 16th round of the Throne Cup.
The Spanish coach said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he was happy with the performance of his players despite the negative result they had scored against Olympique Dechira.
He added, “This is our first game of the new football season, so the physical and technical performance has to be at an average level. We started to prepare for this season late, because of the delay of joining the most prominent players because of the financial crisis of the green team.”
He stressed, “We should not forget the opponent (Olympique Aldsheira) was better than us in harmony and fitness, and have taken the ball in many times.”
He continued, “I have confidence in all the players. I do not discriminate against any of them. The players who played as first-time players performed very well in the preparations, and in the future international players will return to take their natural place.”
He added that he will work more on fitness development, saying that it is the only way to improve the team's performance during the coming period.
He added, “I trust the players to come back from Agadir victory and the performance of the team will definitely improve. I believe that even the competition between the players will serve the green team.”
