Victory for CAB not enough

Algerian Adelmalek Ziaya Algiers - Hocine Bousaleh ES Tunis secured the victory they required to confirm them as this year’s champions in the Tunisian league. With one game remaining in the season, their joy at being crowned will have to wait until next week, although their 3-2 defeat of Club Africain means they now can’t be caught. Second placed CA Bizertin also won their game, against l\'Olympique de Béja (OB), thanks to a last minute goal from the Algerian strker, Adelmalek Ziaya. After an early goal from CAB’s Al Mehaj Al Saq, OB equalised midway through the first half. However, Ziaya’s winner will prove no more than a consolation as they are now unable to catch the league champions.
