Bolivian Communication Minister Gisela Lopez denounced today the death threats against President Evo Morales that were posted on Twitter.
At a press conference, Lopez rejected the offensive and racist texts published in recent hours, using the account @evoespueblo, registered by the user named Exorcismo Bebe.
The official also condemned the message posted by user Saimon, with the following warning: 'Evo be careful, you are dead.'
In Lopez' opinion, those were threats by the radical right, with the purpose of insulting and denigrating the figure of a president that is fostering unity and integration of all countries in the world.
"Morales is against all walls and in favour of a universal citizenship, and as a result threats to his life emerge," Lopez said.
Some of these messages appeared on social networks shortly after the Head of State expressed his solidarity with the Cuban people, faced with the new measures announced by US President Donald Trump to harden the hostile policy maintained by Washington against Havana.
