Five people were killed in a deadly car accident in central Georgia on Monday, said the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A seven-month pregnant woman was among the five victims that were killed in the car crash on a bypass road in Kutaisi, the second largest city of Georgia.
Three cars were involved in the incident and an investigation was under way, said the ministry.
The car crash marked one of the deadliest traffic accidents in Georgia in recent years.
In Georgia, a driver could easily obtain a driving license without rigorous training, which constitutes an important cause for frequent road accidents in the country, according to transportation experts.
Statistics showed that as many as 6,938 motor vehicle accidents happened in 2016 across the country, leaving 581 people dead.
