Four people were killed after landslides hit West Java province in western Indonesia on Tuesday, a disaster agency spokesman said.
The disaster took place at midnight in Cipelah village of Bandung district, said Sutopo Purwo Nugoho, spokesman of the natural disaster management agency.
Heavy downpours since Monday were blamed for the incident which buried two houses, he told Xinhua.
Indonesia is frequently hit by flood and landslide during rainy season.
