Investigators searching for a missing semi-pro boxer and his friend found a van and body Friday buried on a farm in southwestern England, police said.Detective Inspector Costa Nassaris told the Cornwall Community News the van had been burned and is full of earth. He described the forensic examination of the site on Bayview Farm in St. Austell, Cornwall, as "slow and painstaking." The boxer, Brett Flournoy, 31, of the Liverpool area, and David Griffiths, 35, a Berkshire resident, had not been seen since June 16. Griffiths' mother, who lives in Plymouth, told the News the two planned to stay in a hotel in Newquay but never showed up. A 28-year-old St. Austell man was arrested Wednesday, police said. Nassaris said the van at the farm appears to be the one Flournoy and Griffiths were driving. The van was located with the help of cadaver dogs and experts using radar, the Daily Mirror said.
