English police brought in five men for questioning this week about a teenager who disappeared in 1996 near his home on the Isle of Wight. All five were released on bail, the Daily Mirror reported. The men range in age from 37 to 50, and four live on the Isle of Wight and the fifth in Gravesend at the mouth of the Thames in Kent, police said. Damien Nettles was 16 when he disappeared. The last sighting was from a security camera at a fish and chips shop, which also showed five men in the shop. Hampshire police said the arrests Tuesday were made because of new evidence developed during the past year. The Nettles family launched a billboard campaign in November, the 14th anniversary of Damien\'s disappearance the BBC said. Valerie Nettles, now living in Dallas, said she does not believe her son ran away. \"I always thought there was more to it, perhaps something sinister,\" she said. \"I want his body so I can bury him.\" The five men were freed on bail until June after being interrogated at police stations in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.
