Turkish authorities have detained nine people in the southern city of Mersin on suspicion of links to the ISIS group.The Turkish authorities had launched a security operation after receiving intelligence about a possible ISIS plot to carry out attacks at polling centers in Mersin to disrupt the constitutional referendum on Sunday, Mersin's prosecution said in a statement.
The operation resulted in the detention of nine people suspected of being associated with ISIS after they were found to have documents related the group as well as arms and ammunition.
