Daesh militant group is making new death threats against Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and employees after the social media site took down accounts allegedly belonging to the terrorist group.
On Sunday, a message posted on JustPaste.it displayed an image of Dorsey with a gun target covering his face, urging jihadis to kill San Francisco-based Twitter employees.
Buzzfeed first reported the online post, which reads: “Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you … You started this failed war. We told you from the beginning it’s not your war, but you didn’t get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back. But when our lions [brave men] come and take your breath, you will never come back to life.”
Twitter’s guidelines specifically bans users from content that calls for threats for violence against others. As a result, the social media giant is constantly removing Daesh accounts as soon as they’re created.
