Moroccan official Salaheddine Mezouar Rabat - Redouane Mabchour Leader of Morocco\'s National Rally of Independents party, Salaheddine Mezouar has quashed speculation that his colleagues have held secret negotiations with senior officials from the ruling Justice and Development Party (PJD). Mezouar told Arab Today that his party has nothing to negotiate about, adding that the final decision about the party\'s future direction can only be made by him and he doesn\'t need anyone\'s authority. The former finance minister claimed that his party has no interest in working with the ruling party, adding that being part of such a coalition would cause confusion and make life difficult for ordinary Moroccans. Mezouar expressed his sadness at the break up of the ruling coalition after the conservative Istiqlal Party pulled out of government. The opposition leader said that the political uncertainty is having a negative impact on the economic situation of the country, and put the coalition government\'s failure down to the lack of the dialogue. Mezouar said his party believes in the policy of being honest and transparent, adding that his colleagues have enough courage, experience and qualifications to carry out their responsibilities. The Moroccan politician said he is totally comfortable with sitting on the opposition benches, as long as his party sticks by its principles.
