Director of Jordan's "Aziz House" Leith Aboul Samn revealed that the touristic house has been renovated to pave the way for tourists visiting Amman to spend longer periods in the area to visit its touristic places.
He said, in a statement to "Arabs Today", that the house built in the 19th century is a touristic social project that enjoys its architectural archaeological nature, as it overlooks archaeological mountain of Citadel. He added that it neighbours the most important mosques and churches in the area.
He continued, "The house contains 12 hotel rooms, as the have been rented with encouraging prices." It is considered the first tourist hotel in Al Salt city, as it receives the tourists in the hall containing historic manuscripts and photos telling the story of the city.
He added that the house provides an opportunity to the visitors to experience the traditional food prepared by the women of the area working in its kitchen.
It also provides the opportunity to the visitors to know the area's lifestyle and the local crafts made by its women
