Golden Tulip Al Jazira Abu Dhabi - Arab Today Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, TCA Abu Dhabi, is making its debut appearance in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, this week. The authority is mounting a pavilion at the Belgrade Tourism Fair - sharing with four stakeholders - from February 27th to March 2nd. Joining the pavilion are Etihad Airways, Mercure Al Ain Grand Jebel Hafeet, the Golden Tulip Al Jazira and Le Meridien Abu Dhabi, which is rolling out new products to celebrate its 25th anniversary. "This fair is the largest tourist event in Southeast Europe," said Mubarak Al Nuaimi, Director, Promotions and Overseas Offices, TCA Abu Dhabi. "The fair regularly attracts over 58,000 travelling public from the region with whom we can spell out Abu Dhabi's attractions to an area which now has non-stop flights to the U.A.E. capital." The number of Serbians checking into Abu Dhabi's hotels is on the rise with both Etihad Airways and Air Serbia flying from Belgrade to the U.A.E. capital. Last year, 1,813 Serbians checked into Abu Dhabi accommodation, a number which has tripled within three years. "This is a new market for us but one where we see potential," said Al Nuaimi. "Our objective is very much to build awareness of Abu Dhabi's tourism offering and its range of accommodation offerings which can apply to a spectrum of holiday makers." Source: WAM
