National Assembly (parliament) Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said the legislative authority is keen on embracing proposals aiming to develop the knowledge and educational level of the society members, especially those with learning disabilities.
"We will be staunch supporters to this dear category of the society and we will do all in power to overcome any challenge obstructing their full integration into the society and to help them achieve success in their academic and social life," Al-Ghanim said in a ceremony held at the UN HQs in Kuwait late Saturday to honor experts who took part the National Assembly-sponsored and the UN-organized learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) training forum.
He wished great success for the forum to help improve the educational services offered to people with learning disabilities.
The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Education, Culture and Guidance Committee at the National Assembly Dr. Awda Al Rowaey.
