The Australian model with Down syndrome, Madeline Stuart, is continuing to make a name for herself in the fashion industry.
In this time, however, the 20-year girl will be doing so both on and off the catwalk.
The Brisbane-based model, who is on a mission to change society's perception of people with disabilities, returned to the New York Fashion Week runway, on Sunday, to launch her new brand, "21 Reasons, why by Madeline Stuart."
Madeline launched her clothing line on the Art Hearts Fashion runway, where she was joined by several other international designers who were showcasing their new collections.
The young model, dressed head to toe in piece from her collection, hit the catwalk with a number of other models who donned bold, bright and colourful looks from the label. Each of them had their hair scraped up in high pony tails and wore eye-popping glittering make up.
At the show's conclusion, Madeline took a moment to wave to the crowd and celebrate the launch of her exciting new project.
The collection is described as "mirroring her own daily style," – "a contemporary, edgy women's ready-to-wear collection, perfect for day wear and yet trendy and versatile for an evening out on the town."
The name of the brand was inspired by Madeline's passion to "find reasons to better ourselves, be more inclusive, healthier and why we should celebrate life, whilst taking pride in her 21st chromosome."
Ultimately, the inspiring creative hopes to spread her message of inclusion and help the world realise that "there are no boundaries regardless of your age, size, race, height, or disability."
Not only has Madeline showed her own collection this Fashion Week, but she has and will walk in a number of designer shows, including PromGirl and Norish Kareem.
She will support several charity events, including The Nylon Project & AFI World Peace Initiative.
2017 will be a busy year for Madeline, who is also booked to walk the runway at Paris Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week and Denver Fashion Week.
As always, she will also continue to make special appearances and do school visits to spread her message of diversity and following dreams.
Madeline also oversees her own dance school in Brisbane, "Inside, Outside Dance Ensemble" and in 2018, she will be releasing her documentary.
