Katie Holmes on cover of “C” Magazine New York - Arabstoday Katie Holmes shot the cover of “C" Magazine, September 2012, just seven days before she filed for divorce from husband Tom Cruise. The accompanying interview took place just one day prior to her big announcement. The actress showed off a sexy and assured new look in a Tom Ford dress on the Matt Jones shot front page while dishing about everything. Katie posed in a ballgown, hair artfully messy in a white shirt and naked but for a leather jacket in the sultry inside shots. Senior editor Kelsey McKinnon interviewed the star for “C” Magazine the day before her surprise divorce filing. She revealed that Katie went to lengths to avoid mentioning her then husband. “Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” McKinnon said. When specifically asked if having Suri brought her closer to her husband, Katie replied: “I don't know. I mean...I don't know. People have been having babies a long time.” Holmes is to star on Broadway this autumn in a new play "Dead Accounts", by Pulitzer Prize winner Theresa Rebeck. She is also preparing for the fourth season of her fashion label “Holmes & Yang”, and will show at the Bowery Hotel in September.
