Port Said Security Chief Faisal Dewedar and senior police officers on Saturday met with Armed Forces commanders in the governorate to offer greetings on the occasion of the anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day.
Dewedar hailed the Armed Forces' vital role to secure the homeland from its enemies at home and abroad in the current period.
He said the current circumstances require concerted efforts to achieve a decisive victory in war on terror.
He added that terror operations that target the police and the army will increase their determination in maintaining the security and stability of the country.
Meanwhile, Port Said Governor Magdy Nasreddin greeted President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, the Armed Forces and the Egyptian nation on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.
