Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo Gamal el Shobaky thanked on Thursday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his efforts to remove obstacles facing Palestinian pilgrims.
The ambassador made the statement while bidding farewell to the last batch of Palestinian pilgrims, who left here in the wee hour of Thursday en route to Saudi Arabia to perform pilgrimage.
The Palestinian pilgrims did not face any problems while crossing Rafah border crossing into Egypt, he said.
It is the third batch of Palestinian pilgrims to fly to Saudi Arabia from Egypt to perform pilgrimage.
