The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the launch of a ballistic missile by the terrorist coup militias in the Republic of Yemen which targeted Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This cowardly attack confirms the negative and dangerous role played by the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the coup militias in the Republic of Yemen, which undermines efforts to reach a peaceful solution, which prolongs the crisis and confirms that Iran insists on its hostile practices by providing the Houthi terrorist group with missiles that threaten peace and security in the region.
The Kingdom of Bahrain affirms its full support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all those who threaten their security or affect their peace and stability.
The Kingdom of Bahrain also stresses its full backing of all policies and measures taken to combat terrorism and preserve the safety and security of the region as a whole.
The Kingdom of Bahrain reaffirms its unwavering commitment to support the legitimate government led by the Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, through participation in the Arab Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, stressing the need to reach a comprehensive political solution to end all forms of external interference and put an end to the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, in accordance with the Gulf initiative and its operational mechanism and the outputs of the National Dialogue and the Security Council Resolution no.2216.
