The Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms Sunday's terrorist attacks in Somalia's Puntland region that left nearly 20 persons dead and dozens others injured.
In a statement on Monday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid asserted Egypt's stand in support of the Somali government and people in face of terrorism.
The spokesman also stressed the necessity of intensifying cooperation to face the phenomenon of terrorism.
