The National Front for Egyptians abroad on Friday condemned statements by a spokesman of the UN Secretary-General on the foreign funding case and rules governing the work of civil society organizations in Egypt.
In a statement, the front described the statements as a blatant interference in the Egyptian state's affairs, in a manner that is contrary to all international norms and conventions.
Those statements openly interfered in the affairs of the Egyptian judiciary to undermine the principle of justice and sovereignty, the front added.
Egypt is an independent sovereign state and the Egyptians reject any interference or guardianship, the statement said.
