The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned the barbaric bombardment of the Syrian city of Aleppo, killing of innocent civilians and complete destruction of the historic city.
In a statement today , the GCC Secretary General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said the GCC condemns the systematic attacks on innocent civilians in Aleppo and their displacement, which are blatant violations of human rights.
The GCC Chief called on the UN to urgently help the Syrian people and stop the war crimes committed against the people of Aleppo. The international community's silence against the tragedy taking place in Aleppo "is a shame and should not continue," he said.
