Saudi Shura Council condemns attacks on Saudi Embassy in Tehran

The Shura Council condemned the attacks against the Kingdom's Embassy in Tehran, and its Consulate in the city of Mashhad, and threats received by Saudi diplomats there by Iranian groups that stormed the Saudi Embassy and Consulate, without a move from the Iranian security authorities to protect Saudi diplomats and the headquarters of its diplomatic mission in a clear violation of diplomatic norms and principles of international relations.

In a statement read by Deputy Speaker of the Council Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri during its 7th ordinary session held here today, the Council condemned the hostile statements made by a number of Iranian regime officials against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and mobilization of the information media of Iranian regime against the Kingdom.
